LET IT GO!!!
Are you in that position whereby talking to someone is very hard? or are you in that position whereby people look at you like a bad person? or looking on the positive side, are you that shy girl in the choir that taking a solo in front of a big congregation is like an uphill task? or standing on the altar to share the Word isn't just your thing? or coming out to share your testimony in front of 300- 500 level students during Tuesday Chapel Service in Covenant University is like "Mission impossible?" Well the question is, if you don't do it, who will?? *wondering*
Sometime ago, I was watching a very popular cartoon, Frozen (ps: I love cartoons) and this particular cartoon captured my interest and even though i have watched it like over a thousand times, i still find it interesting and amusing anytime i watch it again. I always watch the cartoon for fun or just to pass out time. But one day, I decided to watch the cartoon not just for fun alone but to capture every details and learn something out of it. I discovered that Elesia had a very powerful ability to freeze things but was afraid to use it due to the gravity of that power. But then, as the Bible say, "a city set up on a hill can NEVER be hidden". It came to a point where all Elesia had to do was just to "let it go". She freed herself of all her fears and she was able to create her own beautiful world. I decided to use this instance because even though Elesia released herself to use her powers, she destroyed her own hometown and froze her sister's heart. But when she came to understand that such rare power as hers wasn't meant for her alone, she went back home and was able to set things right and OH!!! Olaf got his own personal flurry!!!!!!!
What i am trying to point out, for those who take time to boot, is that no matter how hard you struggle to hide that talent that God gave to you, one day, "breeze will blow and fowl yansh will open". One day, something, beyond human understanding, will happen to you and that girl that is always shy of singing in the Church will not be able to control the outburst of songs and he who can't stand to preach or testify will be able to do it with ease. We should be able to "let it go". You are not the Captain of the ship of your destiny. You don't have any power to know your end from your beginning. Allow the Master planner to take control for He who put that potential in you have the user's manual and know how to operate the switches in your life. Whatever you are going through now isn't greater than the ability of God.. Talk to Him, He understands. Enough of hiding in the shadows, enough of shyness and timidness....Let it go!!
