The Love Of A Mother

 

MUMMY I CAN'T FIND MY BACKPACK! MUMMY I NEED 2K FROM YOU! MUMMY WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO VISIT ME! MUMMY I HAVE SOMEONE I LIKE BUT HE DOESN'T FEEL THE SAME WAY! MUMMY I'M HUNGRY! MUMMY I WANT SOME MORE! MUMMY I NEED TO CHANGE MY WARDROBE! MUMMY I'M HAVING HEADACHE! MUMMY I'M HAVING MENSTRUAL PAIN! MUMMY I FEEL FAT! MUMMY MY FRIENDS DON'T LIKE ME! 

These and many more are the things Mother's have to hear from their children especially their Girl child but just like the love of God, Mother's have a very strong bond they share with their children which is hard to break but I must add this words "Good Mothers". I have come to realize that not all mother's are happy with their children's success.. I can't even imagine that a MOTHER will find happiness making her children suffer and it won't even make them feel bad, i mean, who remove their heart and still expect to live??? Na jazz?? Well that doesn't concern me coz what i want to discuss about is The love of a Mother and not hatred. Sometime ago, I asked some friends this question, although I don't wish it for anybody.. If you are to loose your mother today and you are suppose to get married the following day, will you call off the wedding to mourn your mother or will you go on with the wedding and mourn her later?? I was kinda shocked with the responses i got, most people said they will go on with the wedding and mourn her later while very few said they will call off the wedding. Well everybody have their own opinion. But, have you ever taken time to think about all the things your mum have done and is still doing for you?? Even the smallest thing you may think don't matter actually matters alot.

My sister will be matriculating tomorrow....Oh by the way, Happy Matriculation Sis.. As I was saying, my sister will be matriculating tomorrow at Babcock Uni and my Mum is already there even before the day of the matriculation. I just got off the phone with her couple of minutes ago and she was telling me about how my sister told her that the shoe she bought for her matric is "Mama shoe" that she doesn't like it. My mum had to go and look for where to buy a better and finer shoe. When I was talking to her, i could hear the stress and tiredness in her voice. She did all she could to make my sister happy on her matriculation at the detriment of her own health. I was speechless for some minutes when she told me and I kept wondering and thanking God for the kind of mother He gave to me...She is really a rare gem... I just hope my lil sis know that. Now tell me, if its not pure love from a Mother to her Daughter, What is it?? I have heard stories of how some mothers treat their children as if they are not their own flesh and blood and its really shocking. I adore my mother and i cherish and love her soo much. We have to be thankful to God for our Mothers because they are ready to sacrifice anything just to make us happy... Don't wait for Mother's day that comes once a year before you show your mother how much she really mean to you... There is nothing more wonderful than the love of a Mother (apart from God's love) and knowing that she will always be there for you....I love you soo much Mum.
